As many of you may have noticed aack hasn't been around on these forums for quite some time, it may suprise you to also know that he has been unavailable to help the other reps since well before xmas last year.

Please dont mistake this as an attack on aack in any way, shape or form. aack was vital to our early work as reps and without him we may not have gotten to where we are now.

We remaining reps have been continuing with our work but both feel that we require a vital 3rd member who could offer a differing opinion to our own. Because of this and after discussions with Alex we decided that we should look to rope in a new rep to help us out.

If you think you have what it takes, then please put your name forward in the thread on the forums. Please do not comment on others who have proposed themselves, nor suggest other people other than yourself at this stage.

Not only was that a silly and naughty thing to do, its a very expensive way to try to level up, of course, your might not have noticed that you were getting fined £1000 for each fireout you did untill you have already spent a few £1000s - I guess you might stop doing that now, eh?


So, to those of you who did the 450+ fireouts since the fine was added, the Netropolis Board of Fair Play would like to thank you for your donation of half a million pounds to its coffers, however, they cannot even give you a single action for this donation.


Latest update for all those who missed it, fireouts on HQs will now cost £1000 for all those who decide they want to do it, but it will not actually count as an action.

As we walk into the light Cork goes very dark .



We guess you all know by now, but today saw a glimpse of the future of our beloved addictive game Netropolis.

A whole city blackened, liberated by the games team, as companies were deleted for breaking the rules, hopefully to be picked up by more scrupulous developers who are willing to care for their land and not hire a machine to do their work... A blunt reminder that nothing ‘shady’ goes unpunished – games team karma if you like.

So what does this mean?
Well since you asked so nicely..... Remember them big words on the enter city page that have been making your eyes sore for the last few months, the ones that imply a stance will be taken against cheats?, This is the beginning of that stance, the start of a new era where scripts will not be tolerated, and where anybody who wants to test the resolve of the games producer does so at their own peril.

What happened today is not a one-off, it’s not step one of a 3 step diet, it’s not diet coke… it is however a statement for everybody to see, it’s the start of the end for scripts and any benefits of using them.

The writing is on the wall ( well .. enter page at least ) and it’s up to you if you want to read it and take note.
